SDA aims to form coalition with DF and SBiH in Bosnia and Herzegovina

Edin Ramić, Vice President of the Party of Democratic Action (SDA), has announced the party's intention to form governing coalitions from the cantonal to the state level following the general elections. The SDA identifies the Democratic Front (DF) and the Party for BiH (SBiH) as its natural partners, seeking to build a coalition with parties that were previously in opposition to the Troika.

In the Sarajevo Canton, Elvedin Okerić, President of the Assembly, noted that a new majority is being established consisting of the SDA, SBiH, and DF. This follows a weaker electoral performance by the Naroda i Pravednost and other Troika parties. Okerić commented on the previous administration's achievements in sectors such as transport and education while addressing challenges regarding public perception and utility management.

Ramić also addressed the political landscape in the Republika Srpska entity, noting that while pro-Bosnian parties secured mandates, they hold a minimal number of seats that are unlikely to significantly influence major decisions dominated by the SNSD. He emphasized the need for a broader patriotic bloc to counter specific political agendas at the state level.
