AIDA64 8.40 adds AMD Zen 7 support and drops 32-bit Windows

FinalWire has released AIDA64 version 8.40, a diagnostic and monitoring suite update that introduces preliminary support for AMD Zen 7 server processors. The update also improves compatibility for AMD Verano and Verano-D platforms and adds specific monitoring parameters for the AMD Radeon RX 9050 graphics card.

Hardware monitoring capabilities have been expanded through ATKACPI sensor support and compatibility with several Matrix Orbital LCD models, including the EVE3-29-IPS, EVE3-38-IPS, and EVE4-104. Additionally, the release addresses previous issues regarding FTP report uploads in the Business and Network Audit editions.

Notably, this version marks the end of support for older platforms, as the software will no longer be compatible with 32-bit Windows systems or Windows XP x64. Future installations will require 64-bit operating systems.
