AIDAbella cruise ship alters Norwegian route due to storms

The cruise ship AIDAbella has adjusted its itinerary multiple times due to stormy weather conditions off the coast of Norway. The vessel is currently on a 14-day ‘Autumn Northern Lights’ voyage that departed from Kiel on October 4 and is scheduled to return on October 18.

Due to the weather, the ship previously had to cancel stops in Bodø and reduce its stay in Tromsø. Following a stabilization in weather conditions, the cruise line has added Bergen to the route to provide passengers with an additional opportunity for a shore excursion in Norway.

Safety for guests, crew, and the vessel remains the primary priority for these operational changes.
