Aidan Butler steps down as president of 1/ST Racing

Aidan Butler is stepping down from his position as president of 1/ST Racing, effective November 1. After serving the organization since 2018 in various leadership capacities, Butler will transition into a new role as an advisor to the company's chairman, Belinda Stronach.

During his tenure, Butler held several key roles, including Chief Strategy Officer, Chief Operating Officer, and CEO of 1/ST Racing and Gaming, before being promoted to president in January 2024. He was notably involved in implementing health and safety protocols at Santa Anita Park and oversaw the rebranding of The Stronach Group to 1/ST.

Mike Rogers, the Canada-based Executive Vice President of 1/ST Racing, will assume some of Butler's former responsibilities to help manage the leadership transition.
