Aidan Chiles leads Northwestern to historic 4-1 start

Quarterback Aidan Chiles has led the No. 25 Northwestern Wildcats to a 4-1 start, marking the program's first AP Top 25 ranking in over five years. Through the first five games, Chiles has recorded 1,172 passing yards, nine passing touchdowns, and six rushing touchdowns, all while throwing zero interceptions.

Chiles, who transferred from Michigan State, currently leads the Big Ten with a 71.4 percent completion rate. Under the guidance of offensive coordinator Chip Kelly, the Northwestern offense is averaging 35.4 points per game, tying for the second-best start in program history.

Chiles is set to face his former team, Michigan State, this Saturday in a highly anticipated conference matchup. The Spartans are currently coached by former Northwestern coach Pat Fitzgerald.
