Aidan O’Brien targets historic fourth consecutive St Leger win

Trainer Aidan O’Brien is attempting to become the first trainer since the 1840s to win four consecutive renewals of the St Leger at Doncaster. His leading contender, Christmas Day, is an Epsom Derby winner seeking to complete the Derby-St Leger double, a feat not achieved in nearly 40 years.

O’Brien’s stable also includes Pierre Bonnard, Action, and Amelia Earhart. Joseph O’Brien is fielding two runners, Enceladus and Highwayman, with Enceladus noted as a strong challenger on form.
