Researchers introduced the term “NoAIfobia” to describe the anxiety students feel when they cannot access AI tools, noting that fear of falling behind peers outweighs practical time‑saving benefits. The study highlights a psychological dilemma where reliance on AI coexists with stigma about cheating.

In parallel, Romanian commentary warns that algorithmic management is extending AI’s reach into supervisory roles, with AI systems evaluating performance, predicting disengagement and even influencing promotions or dismissals.
