Aieza Bertolso signs UFC contract after DWCS victory

Aieza Bertolso, an athlete from Alto Taquari, Mato Grosso, has signed a contract with the UFC following a victory at Dana White's Contender Series (DWCS) in Las Vegas. Bertolso secured the win by submitting Argentine fighter Camila Reynoso with a Brabo Choke (inverted D'Arce choke) at 3:02 of the first round.

With this victory, Bertolso maintains an undefeated professional record of 8-0. The athlete previously held the LFA strawweight belt. Following the performance, UFC President Dana White presented the contract directly to Bertolso.

In the same event, the fight involving another Brazilian athlete from Mato Grosso, Erick Visconde, was postponed. Visconde's match against Ilias Bulaid was rescheduled for October 13 after his opponent fell ill prior to the event.
