Aigani celebrates the Nativity of the Theotokos with religious service

A grand Panegyrical Vespers service was held at the Holy Temple of the Nativity of the Theotokos in Aigani to celebrate the feast of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. The ceremony included Artoklasia and a Divine Sermon, led by Father Basileios alongside other clergy members.

The event drew a large number of local residents and pilgrims. Following the service, a traditional procession featuring the Holy Icon of the Nativity of the Theotokos took place through the main streets of Aigani. The celebration included Byzantine hymns performed by a choir of chanters.

Local officials, including the Mayor of Tempi, Giorgos Manolis, attended the festivities. The celebration concluded in the Aigani square with traditional dances performed by a local dance group, highlighting the cultural identity of the region.
