AIIMS Bhubaneswar opens recruitment for faculty and support staff
AIIMS Bhubaneswar, an institute of the Ministry of Health & Family Welfare, issued a recruitment notice for five positions — one assistant professor of psychiatry, two senior resident psychiatry posts, one lab technician and one pharmacist (Grade‑II). The walk‑in interview is scheduled from 12 June to 27 June 2026.
Candidates must meet specific qualifications: the assistant professor requires an MD/DNB in psychiatry and at least three years teaching or research experience; senior residents need an MD/DNB in psychiatry; the lab technician must hold a relevant bachelor’s degree; the pharmacist must have a pharmacy diploma and be registered under the Pharmacy Act 1948. Age limits range from 21‑30 years for the lab technician, 21‑27 years for the pharmacist, up to 50 years for the professor and 45 years for senior residents.
The posts are contractual for 11 months with salary based on institute norms, including basic pay, DA and NPA. No travel allowance is provided, and candidates must bring original documents, photographs, and a brief PowerPoint presentation covering their achievements. The recruitment is conducted under the Pradhan Mantri Swasthya Suraksha Yojana scheme.
