AIIMS Delhi terminates security guard following patient harassment report

The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) in New Delhi has terminated a security guard, identified as Dhananjay Singh, following reports of inappropriate behavior toward a female patient.

In addition to terminating Singh, the institution has filed a police complaint to pursue further legal action. AIIMS also levied a penalty against the private security firm responsible for the guard's employment. The institute reaffirmed its "zero-tolerance policy towards sexual harassment and misbehaviour against women," stating its commitment to maintaining a safe and dignified environment for all patients and attendants.
