AIJING's debut coincides with controversy over parents' unpaid wages
The debut of 13-year-old Chinese member AIJING in the South Korean girl group A2O_LITE has been overshadowed by controversy regarding her parents' business dealings. Reports indicate that Beijing Xiaofeishou Education Technology Co., Ltd., a company owned by AIJING’s parents, Zhang Jing and Sheng Jiachuan, has faced legal enforcement for unpaid wages.
Court records show the company was subject to mandatory execution for approximately 3.45 million yuan (roughly 9.3 billion Indonesian Rupiah) in unpaid employee salaries. While the company had previously reached arbitration agreements to pay debts in installments, those agreements were reportedly not fulfilled.
A social media account claiming to belong to AIJING’s mother issued an apology on October 14, attributing the debt to deteriorating business conditions and promising to take responsibility. The statement emphasized that the child is not involved in the family's business disputes or financial issues.
