AIKO Solar reports rising ABC module shipments amid increased net losses

AIKO Solar reported an 8.72% year-on-year increase in revenue for the first half of 2026, reaching RMB 9.18 billion. This growth was driven by its N-type All Back Contact (ABC) components, which accounted for 79% of total revenue. Shipments of these modules rose by 50% annually to 9.39 GW.

Despite the revenue growth and a 90% year-on-year increase in overseas sales volume, the company's net loss widened significantly, increasing from RMB 238 million to RMB 754 million during the same period last year. AIKO attributed the shipment growth to strong performance in international markets, including France, Finland, the Czech Republic, Egypt, and Romania, which helped offset weakened domestic demand in China.
