Aileen Wetzel visits Vietnam site of uncle's crash

Aileen Wetzel, the niece of Major Paschal G. Boggs, recently traveled to Vietnam to visit the area where her uncle was lost during the Vietnam War. Major Boggs, a Marine Corps pilot, was killed during a bombing mission in North Vietnam when his aircraft struck a limestone karst formation near the coast.

Wetzel described a spiritual connection to her uncle, noting that she first felt his presence while visiting his name on the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C. Her journey eventually led her to Ha Long Bay, located approximately 8 kilometers from the site of the crash, where she reflected on the landscape her uncle had flown over during his final mission.
