AileFest festival held at Rami Library until October 6

AileFest is currently taking place at the Rami Library in Istanbul, running until October 6. Organized by the Türkiye Gönüllü Teşekküller Vakfı (TGTV) as part of the ‘Family and Population Decade’ declared by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the festival aims to strengthen intergenerational bonds and provide quality time for families.

The event is supported by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism, the Ministry of National Education, the Ministry of Family and Social Services, and the Istanbul Governorship. Necmeddin Bilal Erdoğan, Chairman of the TGTV Board of Trustees and AileFest Board of Directors, stated that the festival reflects the solidarity culture of Anatolia and helps strengthen family ties by bringing different generations together.

The festival features age-specific activities for children aged 0-3, 3-6, and 7-12, including sensory, sporting, and cultural workshops. Programming includes parent-child workshops, book fairs, and competitions such as ‘Aileler Yarışıyor’. The evening schedule includes a series of musical performances by artists including Ekin Uzunlar, İncesaz, Kubat, Kıraç, Cengiz Özkan, and Ümit Sayın.
