AIM Entertainment releases third ‘Running Girl’ animation ‘Luna’

AIM Entertainment Japan has released ‘Luna’, the third installment of its original short animation series ‘Running Girl’. The music video was published on YouTube on September 7, 2026.

Set against the backdrop of Santa Monica Beach in Los Angeles, the animation follows Luna, a 17-year-old American high school student seeking independence and self-identity through running. The production features a cover of Cyndi Lauper’s ‘Girls Just Want To Have Fun’ to reflect the protagonist's energy and the coastal setting.

The ‘Running Girl’ project is designed as a global media format that integrates animation with music, intended to serve as lifestyle background content. The series also functions as an intellectual property for brand collaborations, following a previous successful installment that featured BEAMS MANGART.
