AIMA increases service appointments by over 60% in first half of 2026

The Agency for Integration, Migration and Asylum (AIMA) reported a significant increase in service efficiency during the first half of 2026. According to agency data, effective appointments at AIMA locations rose by more than 60% compared to the same period in 2025.

This increase in service capacity was accompanied by a 35.8% decrease in complaints between January and June. The average complaint rate relative to effective appointments dropped from 6.9% in 2025 to 2.7% in 2026. Additionally, the agency noted a positive trend in citizen praise, averaging approximately 32 commendations per month.

AIMA attributes these improvements to operational reorganization and modernization efforts. As part of its commitment to transparency and accessibility, the agency has also introduced the Electronic Yellow Book (LAE), a new digital channel for citizens to submit feedback and complaints.
