Aimee VanNice named InterMountain ESD superintendent

The InterMountain Education Service District (IMESD) Board of Directors has selected Aimee VanNice as the agency’s next superintendent. VanNice is scheduled to officially begin her new role on July 1, 2027.

VanNice has held several leadership positions within the district, serving as assistant superintendent since 2023 and as the director of human resources previously. Her responsibilities as assistant superintendent included overseeing information technology, instructional services, and facility directors. She also led the development of the district’s ‘Look to the Future’ initiative.

VanNice will succeed retiring superintendent Mark Mulvihill. Mulvihill will remain in his current position through June 30, 2027, to assist with the transition and prepare VanNice for her upcoming duties.
