Aimyon to perform theme song for new drama ‘Mou Papa!’

Singer Aimyon will perform the theme song for the new Japanese drama ‘Mou Papa!’, which is scheduled to premiere on October 4 on ABC TV and TV Asahi. The song, titled ‘Saganara Lonely’, was written specifically for the series.

Written by Erika Yoshida, the drama is a human family story exploring the light and shadow of social media culture. The plot follows Noriko (played by Nanoka Hara), a college student whose life is heavily influenced by her father, Yoshitaka (played by Shinichi Tsutsumi), who uses their family life to create viral video content. The series depicts the conflict and eventual growth of a daughter attempting to find her own identity amidst the pressures of digital fame and parental control.

The new track ‘Saganara Lonely’ is described as a pop melody that expresses themes of internal conflict, loneliness, and the determination to forge one's own path. The song will make its debut during the first episode's broadcast.
