Aina Abdul releases ‘Bluest Sky’ for Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026
Aina Abdul has released ‘Bluest Sky’, the official entry representing Malaysia at the Eurovision Song Contest Asia 2026. The song, which features lyrics in both English and Malay, was written and composed by Abdul and produced by Mac Chew.
The contest is scheduled to take place on November 14, 2026, in Bangkok, Thailand. The competition will follow rules similar to the traditional Eurovision Song Contest, including a three-minute maximum song length and a voting system split equally between a professional jury and public televoting.
Abdul, a former runner-up on the talent show Mentor Legend and a winner of Anugerah Juara Lagu, was previously announced as the Malaysian representative during the Anugerah Juara Lagu 40 broadcast. Her entry is described as a midtempo ballad that incorporates folkloric sounds.
