Ainhoa Arteta denounces car theft and police response in San Sebastián

Soprano Ainhoa Arteta has publicly denounced a theft involving her vehicle in a private parking garage in San Sebastián. According to the artist, thieves broke a car window to access the interior, stealing her handbag containing cash, personal belongings, and documentation.

Arteta expressed significant frustration regarding the response from the Basque police (Ertzaintza), claiming that officers took approximately one hour to arrive after she reported the incident. She also criticized the attitude of the agents upon their arrival.

In her statements, the singer linked the incident to broader concerns regarding public security and the use of tax resources. She noted that she has previously declined offers to move her assets to tax havens, arguing that taxes should contribute to the safety and well-being of citizens.
