AINIA launches six R&D+i projects in AI and sustainability

AINIA has launched six new research, development, and innovation (R&D+i) projects focused on strategic sectors including artificial intelligence, bioeconomy, and sustainability. Supported by IVACE+i and FEDER funds, these initiatives aim to enhance the competitiveness of companies within the Valencian Community under the Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform (STEP).

Key projects include RAPIDES, which utilizes distributed artificial intelligence and synthetic data to improve emergency response capabilities for food and health alerts. Another initiative, MULTIPASS, will develop a digital infrastructure to help industries implement the European Digital Product Passport, ensuring traceability and interoperability throughout a product's lifecycle. Other efforts focus on bioeconomy and sustainable water management to promote industrial resilience and environmental protection.
