Aion 2 gear progression and enhancement guide

In Aion 2, gear progression is a central component of character development and endgame activity. Players increase their item level by equipping gear in every available slot, which can be obtained through main story quests, regional quests, and dungeon farming. While dungeon gear is a primary focus for endgame players, crafted items on certain servers have been noted for their superior quality.

There are five distinct gear rarities: Common (white), Rare (green), Epic (blue), Unique (yellow), and Heroic (red). Higher rarity items are significant because they allow for more stat enhancements.

Specific accessories, such as the Revelation Amulet and the Noble Belt, can be upgraded to high tiers for free. The Revelation Amulet is acquired through the main story and upgraded using Enhance Scrolls and Empyrean Feathers. The Noble Belt is a level 13 quest reward that can be upgraded using scrolls obtained from looting Stronghold chests. Upgrading rarity for these items typically requires reaching a +10 enhancement level before using the Substance Morph screen.
