Air Alas bridge in Seluma fully repaired

The Air Alas bridge in Renah Gajah Mati I Village, Seluma Regency, Bengkulu, has been fully repaired following severe damage. The 105-meter-long bridge serves as the sole connection between Renah Gajah Mati I and Kemang Manis villages.

The restoration was completed through the ‘Jembatan Merah Putih Presisi’ program, a collaborative effort between the Seluma Police (Polres Seluma), the Semidang Alas Police Sector, and local residents. The bridge, which is over 4 meters wide, is now safe for both two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. Following the completion, local police officials stated they intend to map other damaged bridges for similar community-based repair initiatives.
