Air Algérie inaugurates first Algiers‑Luanda flight

Air Algérie announced the launch of its first scheduled service between Algiers, Algeria and Luanda, Angola, commencing on Friday 26 June. The new route is presented as part of the carrier’s strategy to strengthen its presence across Africa and expand its international network.

The launch follows the conclusions of a visit by the Angolan president to Algeria and aligns with the policy directions outlined by Algerian President Abdelmadjid Tebboune. Officials say the service will promote exchanges, improve mobility and support Algeria’s role as a regional aviation hub, while also tapping the high‑potential African market.
