Air Algérie launches new airport ground staff training program

Air Algérie, through its training subsidiary the Académie Nationale Algérienne de l'Aéronautique (ANAA), has opened enrollment for a new airport ground‑agent course. The program, announced on 26 July 2026, comprises more than 300 hours of instruction split between a month of classroom training at the academy in Algiers and a month of on‑site internship at an airport.

The curriculum covers passenger reception, check‑in procedures, coordination with airport personnel and other operational duties required of ground agents. Graduates receive a certificate from ANAA, which also offers training for cabin crew, pilots, aircraft maintenance, dispatch and safety management. The initiative aims to strengthen Algeria’s civil aviation workforce and improve service standards at its airports.
