Air Algérie launches new direct flight route to Berlin

Air Algérie has launched a new direct flight connection between Algiers and Berlin. Operating once a week from Houari Boumediene International Airport, the new route adds to the airline's existing four weekly flights to Frankfurt, bringing the total number of weekly flights between Algeria and Germany to five.

The launch took place in the presence of officials from the Algerian Ministry of the Interior, Local Authorities, and Transport, as well as the German Ambassador to Algeria, Georg Felsheim. The expansion follows an official visit by President Abdelmadjid Tebboune to Germany, during which the opening of this destination was announced.

The airline stated that this new connection aims to strengthen its presence in the German market, support bilateral exchanges, and meet the travel needs of the Algerian community residing in Germany. The move is part of Air Algérie's broader strategy to develop its international network and increase its footprint in Europe.
