Air Arabia expands Polish network with new Gdańsk to Sharjah route
Emirati carrier Air Arabia has announced the expansion of its operations in Poland, adding Gdańsk to its network. Starting December 14, 2026, the airline will operate direct flights between Gdańsk and Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.
The new route will feature a high frequency of five flights per week, scheduled for Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays. This expansion follows the airline's existing presence in Warsaw and Krakow, and a planned launch in Katowice later this December.
Adel Al Ali, CEO of Air Arabia Group, stated that the new connection aims to meet both tourist and business travel needs while strengthening relations between the UAE and Poland. Tomasz Kloskowski, President of Gdańsk Airport, noted that the connection serves as a gateway to the Middle East and Asia, potentially boosting regional tourism and economic cooperation through easier access to Air Arabia's hub in Sharjah.
