Air Campania faces worker‑conditions criticism despite record 2025 profit
Air Campania reported a record 2025 financial result, with net assets over €35 million, production value of €110 million, sales close to €100 million and a fourth consecutive year of profit. The company also announced 156 new hires and further appointments from its staffing lists.
The transport workers’ union OR S A Trasporti criticised the firm, presenting photos and video of dilapidated depots and “ghost” bus stops lacking basic facilities. Reported problems include broken chairs, obsolete furniture, critical hygiene shortcomings, infestations of insects and mosquitoes, and the total absence of toilets, shelters or waiting rooms for drivers and passengers. Union secretary Raffaele Paciello said, “Our complaint is supported by undeniable photo and video evidence; the profits must be redirected immediately to secure and refurbish the workplaces,” and warned that without an extraordinary remediation plan the union will activate all available protective actions.
