Air Canada announces 30 finalists for Best New Restaurants 2026

Air Canada has announced the 30 finalists for its 2026 Best New Restaurants list, a selection spanning the country to highlight talent and creativity in Canadian dining.

Among the finalists is Edmonton’s Rita Trattoria, the sole representative from the city. Led by Chef Daniel Costa, the Italian restaurant opened in August 2025 and has quickly become a local destination. Other notable finalists include establishments in Vancouver, Montreal, Toronto, Winnipeg, and several other Canadian cities.

The official top 10 restaurants from this list are scheduled to be unveiled on November 16.
