Air Canada announces new nonstop routes for summer 2027
Air Canada has announced the expansion of its flight network for the summer 2027 season, introducing three new nonstop routes from Canadian hubs to the United States.
New services include flights from Toronto to Louisville, scheduled to begin on April 28, 2027, with daily service starting in May. Montréal will launch daily flights to Indianapolis beginning June 1, 2027, through September 30. Additionally, Edmonton will offer service to Newark starting June 1, 2027, operating four times per week through October 17.
The airline also plans to deploy larger Airbus A220 aircraft on its Edmonton–San Francisco route. These expansions follow research indicating that while many Canadians value familiar winter escapes, there is significant interest in exploring new destinations, particularly in Central and South America and the Asia-Pacific region.
