Air Canada delays Dubai and Tel Aviv flight restarts to 2027

Air Canada has announced that it will delay the resumption of its flights to Dubai and Tel Aviv until January 2027. This decision extends a suspension that began on February 28 following escalated tensions in the Middle East.

Service to Dubai International Airport is now expected to restart in mid-January 2027, missing the airline’s previously anticipated winter schedule. Flights to Tel Aviv are expected to resume around the same time. The airline cited ongoing uncertainty regarding airspace safety in the region as a primary factor for the delay.

To assist affected travelers, Air Canada has maintained a flexible booking policy introduced in late March. Depending on individual booking terms, eligible passengers may be able to change their travel dates without fees, switch to alternative destinations, or cancel their reservations for future travel credits.
