Air Canada to announce Summer 2027 international route expansion

Air Canada is preparing to unveil its Summer 2027 network expansion on September 3, which is expected to include five new international routes. To build anticipation, the airline has released a teaser video containing visual clues that hint at the upcoming destinations.

In conjunction with the teaser, Air Canada has launched a contest inviting customers to guess the new destinations. Participants who correctly identify the routes before the official announcement may win a trip for two to any destination within the airline’s network.

While the specific routes have not been officially confirmed, industry speculation suggests potential new services from hubs like Toronto Pearson and Montréal–Trudeau to cities such as Lagos, Geneva, Tunis, Accra, or Melbourne, aligning with the carrier's previously stated growth opportunities.
