Air Europa, Iberia, and Plus Ultra to resume Caracas flights

Air Europa, Iberia, and Plus Ultra are set to resume flight operations to and from Simón Bolívar International Airport in Maiquetía, Caracas, starting in September. This follows the disruption caused by earthquakes in Venezuela this past June.

Air Europa will be the first to restore the Madrid-Caracas connection, beginning this Tuesday with five weekly frequencies. Iberia will follow on Thursday with three weekly flights. Plus Ultra is scheduled to return to Caracas on September 8 with weekly service on Tuesdays, though it will continue operating to Valencia until the capital's airport reaches full normalcy.

Other carriers are also restoring connectivity: American Airlines will resume direct flights between Miami and Caracas this Thursday, and Copa Airlines has already reactivated its connections from Panama, reaching 29 weekly frequencies.
