Air Force Academy names new head coaches for baseball and wrestling

The Air Force Academy has announced new leadership for its baseball and wrestling programs. Interim Director of Athletics Dr. Nancy Hixson confirmed Drew LaComb as the new head baseball coach. LaComb, who has served as an assistant coach for the past three seasons, previously helped lead the team to its first Mountain West Regular Season Championship.

Additionally, Joe Johnston has been named the head coach of the Air Force wrestling program. Johnston succeeds Sam Barber, who is retiring from coaching to become an Associate Athletic Director. Johnston has served as an assistant coach at the Academy for eight seasons, contributing to several Top 25 team finishes and numerous All-American honors.
