Air Force defeats Nevada in double-overtime thriller

The Nevada Wolf Pack suffered a 36-33 double-overtime loss to the Air Force Falcons at Mackay Stadium. Despite trailing by 10 points in the fourth quarter, Nevada tied the game following a 57-yard touchdown run by Herschel Turner with 1:49 remaining in regulation.

Air Force's offensive strategy relied heavily on the run, accumulating between 316 and 363 rushing yards. Air Force quarterback Liam Szarka recorded 33 carries. The game also featured an injury scare for Nevada sophomore quarterback Carter Jones.

With this result, Nevada moves to a 1-3 overall record and 0-1 in Mountain West play. The team has now lost three of its four games by one possession or less.
