Air Force Technical College graduates 118 engineering officers
The Air Force Technical College (AFTC) in Bengaluru held a Passing-out Parade for the 107th Aeronautical Engineering Course on September 5, 2026. The ceremony marked the end of 62 weeks of training for 118 engineering officers, which included five officers from friendly foreign countries.
Air Marshal Yalla Umesh, Air Officer Commanding-in-Chief of the Maintenance Command, served as the chief guest and reviewing officer. The event featured a performance by the Air Warrior Drill Team, a flypast by Dornier aircraft and Mi-17 helicopters, and motorcycle stunts by the ‘Tornadoes’ display team.
Key awards included the ‘Sword of Honour’ for first in the order of merit, presented to Flying Officer Raghvendra Pratap Singh. Flying Officer Vaibhav Mishra received the ‘President’s Plaque’ for excellence in professional subjects and general service training. Additionally, Chief of Air Staff Medals for the Electronics and Mechanical streams were awarded to Flying Officer Rohan Veer Singh Rawat and Flying Officer Keshika K, respectively.
