Air France and Air Côte d'Ivoire sign codeshare agreement

Air France and Air Côte d’Ivoire have signed a reciprocal codeshare agreement for the Paris-Charles de Gaulle to Abidjan-Félix Houphouët-Boigny route. The agreement is set to take effect this week, with full implementation of codesharing on the Paris-Abidjan route occurring by October 25, 2026.

Under this partnership, Air France will apply its code to flights operated by Air Côte d’Ivoire on this route, while Air Côte d’Ivoire will market Air France flights under its own code. This collaboration aims to provide passengers with increased schedule flexibility and more flight options between France and Côte d’Ivoire. Currently, Air Côte d’Ivoire operates eight weekly flights to Paris, while Air France operates 12 weekly flights to Abidjan.

Air France has been a strategic partner and shareholder of Air Côte d’Ivoire since the latter's inception in 2012. Anne Rigail, CEO of Air France, stated that the agreement is a new step in their cooperation, intended to strengthen economic and cultural ties. The companies plan to expand this collaboration to other destinations within the Air France network before the end of the first half of 2027.
