Air France-KLM Announces Free Ticket Changes for Summer 2026

Air France, KLM and Transavia – the three airlines of the Air France‑KLM group – said they will be able to operate their full summer 2026 schedule despite recent concerns about fuel availability. The group expects to run about 2,200 flights per day to more than 320 destinations in July and August, and it is launching a flexible‑ticket offer that lets passengers modify their bookings once at no cost. The promotion applies to reservations made between 3 June and 17 June for long‑haul flights from France and between 3 June and 9 June for Transavia’s short‑haul services, covering routes from the French mainland, the Antilles and French Guiana.

Group chief executive Benjamin Smith stressed that “all signals are green” and that the airlines will transport all their customers this summer. In addition, the carriers pledged not to pass on any increase in kerosene prices to passengers who have already paid for their tickets, ensuring price stability even if fuel costs rise.

The move is intended to reassure travelers and encourage bookings by offering total flexibility and price guarantees during the high‑demand holiday period.
