Air France launches Paris Stopover packages for connecting passengers
Air France and Extime Travel, the tourism brand of Groupe ADP, have introduced a new "Paris Stopover" service for passengers with layovers at Paris‑Charles de Gaulle Airport. Travelers can extend a connection of at least 27 hours for up to four nights and choose from two main packages – a city‑focused offering that includes the Eiffel Tower, the Louvre and a Seine‑side dinner, and a family‑oriented Disneyland Paris package.
The packages cover airport transfers, accommodation in selected four‑ or five‑star hotels and activities tailored to the length of stay. Prices start at about €447‑€449 per person, with final costs varying by hotel, date and number of travelers, and local tourist taxes apply. The option is available to all fare classes and can be added when booking on Air France’s website, up to 48 hours before departure.
The initiative aims to capture the interest of the roughly half of Air France’s transfer passengers who continue onward after arriving at Charles de Gaulle; a study by the Pegase research group found that 81 % of those passengers would like to leave the airport and explore Paris or nearby attractions. Paris Stopover is part of the "Connect France" partnership between Air France‑KLM and Groupe ADP, launched in June 2025 to strengthen CDG as a major European hub and increase tourism spending in France.
