Air France launches Paris stopover travel packages
Air France and Extime Travel, a subsidiary of Groupe ADP, have introduced a "Paris Stopover" service that lets passengers extend a layover in Paris for up to four nights. The offer, available on both outbound and return flights, includes transfers, accommodation in selected four‑ or five‑star hotels in central Paris or Disneyland Paris, and a selection of curated activities such as city tours, cultural excursions and family‑friendly visits to Disneyland.
The program targets travelers with a minimum 27‑hour connection at Paris‑Charles de Gaulle or Orly airports and is marketed to high‑spending tourists. It responds to a study showing that 81% of Air France customers with a Paris connection are interested in leaving the airport to explore the city, with interest even higher among Brazilian (92 %) and Indian (90 %) passengers. Packages can be booked directly through Air France’s booking platform and are designed to provide a seamless, all‑inclusive experience.
The launch aims to boost tourism revenue for the French capital and surrounding region while offering Air France passengers added value during transit.
