Air France wins best world First Class at 2026 Skytrax Awards

Air France has been named the provider of the world’s best First Class at the 2026 Skytrax World Airline Awards. The recognition focuses on the airline’s La Première cabin, which was unveiled in early 2025 following three years of development.

Designed to emulate the privacy of a private jet, the La Première suites on Boeing 777-300ER aircraft feature modular configurations and significant space increases. Each suite offers approximately 3.5 square meters of private area and includes five electric-shuttered windows for natural light.

In addition to the top First Class honor, Air France was named the best airline in Western Europe for the sixth consecutive year. The carrier also received awards for the best First Class lounge dining and the best First Class amenity kit, which features products from Sisley. The airline has also climbed to seventh place in the overall global airline rankings.
