Lidl launches £50 Silvercrest Glass Air Fryer, rivaling Ninja model

Lidl will sell its new Silvercrest Glass Air Fryer for £49.99 (about £50) starting Sunday, 2 August, in UK stores. The appliance mirrors the Ninja Crispi 4‑in‑1 Portable Glass Air Fryer, which retails for £149.99, but offers the same four preset programmes – air fry, roast, re‑fry and keep warm – in heat‑resistant glass containers.

The Silvercrest model includes two glass containers (2 L and 4 L), capable of holding up to 250 g and 650 g of chips respectively. Both containers are dishwasher‑safe and feature leak‑proof lids, allowing users to cook from single portions up to a whole chicken without transferring food. The product will appear on the middle aisle and is subject to a “when it’s gone, it’s gone” stock policy. Lidl Plus members can purchase the fryer for £49.99, while non‑members pay £59.99.
