Air fryer sales surge in Poland amid rising competition from multifunctional mini ovens

The small appliance market in Poland is experiencing significant growth, driven largely by the popularity of air fryers. According to APPLiA Polska, over one million air fryers were sold in the country in 2025, nearly doubling the previous year's figures and increasing sixfold compared to two years ago.

While air fryers remain a major sales hit, the market is evolving as manufacturers introduce multifunctional countertop devices. New models are increasingly blurring the lines between air fryers and mini ovens by incorporating features such as grilling, baking, convection, and food drying.

Consumers are seeking greater versatility to overcome the limitations of traditional air fryers, such as small cooking chambers that cannot accommodate standard baking pans or dishes. Modern multifunctional devices and advanced mini ovens, some utilizing infrared technology for even heat distribution, are emerging as competitive alternatives for preparing a wider variety of foods, including cakes and larger meals.
