Air fryers: DIY cleaning method and £105 price cut on Haier Multi Air Fryer

Cleaning expert Chantel Mila recommends a no‑scrub technique to deep‑clean air fryer baskets. The method uses baking soda, washing‑up liquid and boiling water poured over the basket, letting the mixture loosen grease and food residue without any rubbing.

Retailers have lowered the price of Haier’s Multi Air Fryer Series 5 by more than £100, reducing the cost from £199.99 to £94. The 9‑in‑1 appliance offers functions such as air‑fry, roast, bake, grill, reheat, defrost, slow‑cook, yoghurt and dried‑fruit preparation, a 7‑litre XL capacity, a viewing window with LED light, and claims up to 70 % energy savings.
