Air India and IHG Hotels & Resorts announce loyalty partnership

Air India and IHG Hotels & Resorts have entered into a loyalty partnership to connect the Maharaja Club and IHG One Rewards programs. The agreement allows Air India members to earn Maharaja Points through stays at IHG properties worldwide, while IHG One Rewards members can exchange their points for Maharaja Points.

Under the terms, Maharaja Club members will earn 2 Maharaja Points for every US$1 spent at most IHG Hotels and Resorts. Stays at Candlewood Suites, Staybridge Suites, IHG Residences, and IHG Army Hotels will earn 1 Maharaja Point per US$1 spent. Additionally, members can convert IHG One Rewards points into Maharaja Points at a rate of 1,000 IHG One Rewards points for 200 Maharaja Points, subject to a minimum exchange threshold of 1,000 points.

The partnership leverages IHG’s portfolio of over 7,100 hotels across more than 100 countries and Air India’s network spanning India and five continents to provide greater flexibility for travelers.
