Air India flight aborts takeoff in Bangkok due to hydraulic failure

An Air India Airbus A320, flight AI 2335, was forced to abort its takeoff from Bangkok to New Delhi on Thursday evening after the crew detected a hydraulic malfunction while taxiing toward the runway.

The aircraft, carrying more than 250 passengers, experienced a sudden halt that passengers described as a loud, forceful screeching. Emergency vehicles and ambulances arrived at the scene as the plane was moved to a side bay near the runway. While the flight was scheduled to depart at 6:25 pm local time on August 13, it did not eventually take off until approximately 7:00 pm the following day.

This incident marks the second hydraulic-related technical fault on an Air India flight within a ten-day period. On August 4, an Airbus A320 flying from Phuket to Delhi experienced three hydraulic failures in quick succession, resulting in a steep descent and injuries to 24 passengers.
