Air India introduces restaurant-style Business Class dining
Air India has launched a new multi-course dining service for Business Class passengers on long-haul flights between India and the United Kingdom, including routes to Heathrow, Gatwick, and Birmingham.
Moving away from traditional tray service, the new setup features linen-covered tables with individually plated courses. The service includes dedicated tableware for appetizers, main dishes, snacks, desserts, and cheese, complemented by signature glassware and custom espresso cups. A notable element of the collection is a cruet set inspired by the Martaban, a traditional Indian jar used for storing spices and recipes.
The airline intends to expand this dining experience to its Airbus A350, Boeing 787-9, and Boeing 777-300 fleets, as well as other international routes, as part of a broader cabin and fleet modernization program.
