Air Jordan 12 UNC Denim Player Exclusive surfaces

Images have surfaced of a new Air Jordan 12 Player Exclusive (PE) designed specifically for the University of North Carolina (UNC) Tar Heels. The footwear features a denim construction, marking a departure from the traditional leather used on the model. The design utilizes two different washes: a light blue denim for the pleated panels and a darker blue denim for the mudguard.

Additional details include metallic gold eyelets, contrast stitching, and UNC branding. A logo replaces the Jumpman on the tongue, while the heel pull tab features a Tar Heels emblem alongside Jordan branding. The midsole is two-toned in light and dark blue, and the number 23 is visible on the rubber outsole.

Reports indicate these shoes are intended for student athletes and staff within the Tar Heels athletic program for the 2026 to 2027 college basketball season. There are currently no plans for a retail release to the general public.
