Air Tahiti acquires premium 26-seat ATR 72-600 for business class service

Air Tahiti has acquired a new ATR 72-600 regional aircraft featuring a premium HighLine configuration designed for all-business class service. Operating under the brand Air Tahiti Signature, the aircraft, named ʻĀnapanapa, features a significantly reduced capacity of 26 passengers compared to the standard 70-seat layout.

The cabin utilizes a 1-1 seating arrangement with ETEREA seats by Geven, providing individual aisle access, 55 cm width, and 99 cm of pitch. To enhance the executive feel, overhead luggage compartments have been removed to create an open-ceiling effect, with storage moved to dedicated spaces.

The aircraft is currently undergoing an eight-leg delivery journey from Toulouse, France, to French Polynesia. The transit route includes stops in Egypt, Oman, India, Malaysia, Indonesia, Australia, and Fiji. Commercial operations are scheduled to begin on December 8, 2026, primarily connecting Tahiti to Bora Bora and Raiatea-Tahaa.
